First of all, THANK YOU! I take that as a compliment of the highest degree…because…well….these women are not models. These women, just like you, at one point looked at the photos on my website and thought “Hmm..I know mine won’t turn out THAT good since I don’t look like a model, but I’m wondering how good she can make me look?” The answer is: Modelesque. I know women. I know women SO well, that I know exactly what they will not like in photos. I know exactly how to pose all types of women to look their very very best. I can use my lighting and camera angles to create beautiful and ultra flattering images of ANY WOMAN. You don’t have to know what you are doing in the slightest. I will direct you every step of the way, from helping to you prepare for your photo shoot with wardrobe tips, to posing every inch of you, to coaching your breathing through the session. You just need to show up and TRUST ME. And also…. I AM A LICENSED AETHETICIAN so I can walk you through you skin care routine to make your skin look it’s best !

Yes! Yes! Yes!  Whatever your excuses are, please know that boudoir is for every woman. And you absolutely don't have to be a specific type or a model. In fact, I prefer not working with models. Boudoir is about beauty and confidence. It's about feeling amazing in your own skin and reminding yourself you are beautiful. Don't believe me? Let me show you.

Of course, I can! I completely understand, and I don't want you to worry or feel uncomfortable. We only ever do what you are comfortable with. I want you to feel stunning, gorgeous, and confident. And clothes on or off, we can create something amazing. We usually start with beauty posing to warm you up, so you can bring your favorite cocktail dress or a ball gown. 

My studio is in Newton Upper Falls. I offer both Beauty and Boudoir sessions, therefore we will be using backdrops ( for the more artistic look) and traditional boudoir sets.

I recommend that women have their shoot date scheduled for about 2 months prior to needing the finished product in-hand. Also, being a one-woman show, I tend to book up very quickly and relatively far in advance. For weekday availability, you should email me to schedule at least a month and a half in advance. Fridays tend to be the most popular time slots and book up the quickest. That said, DON’T WAIT to contact me! It’s never too early to get on my schedule. Your photo reveal appointment will be approximately 1-2 weeks after your photo session, and your finished product (depending on what you order) will arrive between 3 and 6 weeks after that.

EDIT: during COVID time I ask only a person who will be photographed to come to my studio. For safety purposes, I do not use an assistant, and my HMUA leaves after she is finished.

This really is a one-on-one experience. However, if you'd like to have someone with you while you get your hair and makeup done and drink mimosas, we are fine with that! And she can help you pick out your pictures at the end. We only ask that she step out for the shooting portion so you can connect with me as your photographer. Believe me, this part is really important!

To book in for a Boudoir Session there is a $500 Session Fee due upon booking. This Session Fee includes a ton of stuff! It includes a pre-shoot consultation,  mimosas, wardrobe and styling advice, Hair and make up artistry and more!

The photoshoot experience starts at $1800 +tax. That includes the photoshoot with Adriana, professional makeup application, the retouching of your images, the in-person photo viewing for you to order photo products a la carte. It also includes an 8×8 20 image linen bedside album. Most clients tend to spend between $3500-$5000(on average) for their session and the photo products they desire. Clients are almost always SHOCKED by how many photos they cannot live without from their session. They think they are going to be the one client that just doesn’t get good photos…and they’re always proved wrong (but with a smile!). Yes, we’re *THAT* good here!

Our packages are thoughtfully built based on our client's most frequent purchases as well as the high demand and limited availability. We do have an incredible selection of additional products that you may upgrade to or purchase separately at your photo reveal appointment.

The Boston Goddess is proud to offer in-person (or remote for out-of-state clients) photo reveal and ordering appointments a few weeks after your photo session. We do this for a host of reasons: First, for your convenience.  We’ve gotten REALLY good at our little system for helping clients decide between images, showing similar images side by side for easy selection, and assisting clients with getting great variety for albums and the perfect wall art pieces. Because we do show a LOT of killer images, it can be overwhelming to navigate on your own and we don’t want our customer service to stop at the photoshoot.  The in-person photo reveal is much appreciated by our clients and is our favorite part of the whole process!

Second, for security. While doing some sort of online proofing gallery is industry standard for lots of different types of photography, beauty and boudoir can be more sensitive in nature. We don’t want to store your images anywhere online, leaving them vulnerable to being hacked and exploited by anyone but you. We take your privacy seriously, so the in-person photo reveal takes care of this!

Many of our clients travel in from out of state for their sessions, and it just wouldn’t be practical for them to come back in for their photo reveal appointment a few weeks later. We have a little workaround for this and can do a live photo reveal via ZOOM screen share. It’s a bit less theatrical than our in-person viewings, but it is a great back-up option for those who cannot return without having to store any of your images online.

Boudoir portrait photography involves a certain level of undress (either lingerie, loungewear, other intimate apparel, or nothing at all. These images tend to be a little more raw, real, candid, unposed LOOKING (although we do pose you throughout the whole shoot). These are meant to embrace a woman’s sexuality, independence, femininity, and badassness. Because of the posing and wardrobe, these images tend to be more intimate in nature. We do retouch all boudoir images for our clients with standard retouching. The finished product is typically a variety of about 60-70 images with a natural retouch (no special effects other than black and white on some images) that include “detail” shots such as legs, tush, breasts, back and shoulders, lips, as well as full body scapes and imagery that includes the face.

The easy answer is "Whatever you feel amazing in!" Most people tend to choose some kind of lingerie, but don't limit yourself. You don't need massive amounts of lace and satin to pull together the perfect portrait wardrobe. After you book, I'll send you my welcome email where I will help you decide just what is perfect for you!

This is an easy one! Albums. It's the most perfect gift. Elegant, discreet and fits perfectly in a bedside drawer. Ranging from 20 -60 images, an album is a portable way to include just what you want in the way you want. You can even write your own personal inscription.

Of course. We will NEVER use anything without your permission. Please do not stress about this. You have full control. However, if you haven't noticed, my work is very classy and beautiful, and we have found that our clients love showing their images off. So, in the event that you are super proud of your amazing images and you do permit me to include them in my portfolio, please know that your real name will never be used in any form, and I will never tag you on social media. I'm excellent at keeping secrets, and you can even have control over what date the images can be used. So, if it is a super-secret gift, you can rest assured your secret is safe with me.

NOT at the moment. My goal is to empower women who have a story to tell.

Of course, I would love to show your amazing, beautiful images in my portfolio. However, I completely understand that you may not be comfortable with that. Rest assured, I only show images when I have been given permission to do so. You are in complete control of what you are comfortable with. Some women are happy to let me choose the images, and some have some restrictions. Whatever feels right to you works for me.
