O.M.G Where does one begin? I have been working with Adriana since 2020 on this photo and some may ask why so long. I first met her when I purchased my session during a black Friday sale in 2020 as this was something I had been wanting to do forever. Then life took over and my dad got very sick not too long after I had booked my session and unfortunately passed away so I postponed my shoot. Adriana was amazing. I was understanding and just kept saying let me know when you are ready.
Well fast forward to Feb of 2023. Most of my dad's affairs had been taken care of but I was still not taking a lot of time for me and I felt like that time was now. I booked my session and the fun began. I started to order outfits and dropped 20lbs (not that you have to do that) We had a repeat phone call to go over what I had bought so many months ago and also had the wardrobe consult. I was starting to get the butterflies and the excitement was building. We talked finance/budget options and limited wardrobe options as she knew I was on a budget and the more outfits the more pics and the more pics the more difficult to stay within the budget.
She sent out emails prior to the session helping you to know what to do beforehand such as hair touch-ups, bubble baths, manicures pedicures everything you need to know, and then some. As someone who has never done something like this, she holds your hand the entire way. Then it happened. Snow in March so we had to move my session again. I was so bummed. Thankfully it was only out for one week.
I packed up my stuff in a suitcase (theater gal so I am used to costumes and it's easier to wheel things in) and when I got there it was like meeting an old friend. Hands down one of the best days of my life. Hair and makeup are so much fun. I felt so pampered and for once something was all about me. I have never felt more beautiful in all my life. At first, I was a bit nervous and shy but within minutes of being one-on-one with Adriana that goes right out the window. She shows you how to pose, walks you through it, and makes you feel like a queen. I could not wait to tell my friends and smiled the whole way home. I felt strong and totally empowered.
Waiting to see my pics was the longest three weeks of my life but oh my Gog was it worth it? I was stunned. I can not stop looking at them and I have shown so many people because they are amazing and beautiful. I cannot stop looking at them. She sits with you and helps you decide which ones are best and if there are two similar she helps you figure out which to get as well. She does not pressure you into getting more than you want/ need/ can afford. Let me tell you I am already trying to figure out how to do it again and trying to save. I think I am addicted to boudoir. If you have ever considered doing it all I can say is DO IT. You will not regret it and do it with Adriana.
